A message from the President and First Lady...

When I found out that you could get a message sent to your little one from the President of course I being a political person jumped at the chance.  I thought it would be a neat thing for Kennedy to have later in life. 

We got ours today!!

in case you can't read it it says "Welcome to the World! Your arrival is cause for great celebration for your proud family.  We wish you a long and happy life filled with chances to learn, ideas to explore, people to love, and dreams to fulfill.  Sincerely, (signed) Barack Obama - Michelle Obama

When we told Kennedy she got mail from the President, her first response was who??

Then when we told her, it is the President peanut!! She went, "oh, the President" - like she really had a clue who we were talking about...

Of course I have now framed the card and it will hang on her wall for a bit before it goes in a book for her later on.
