Last Halloween we headed out to the pumpkin patch and winery to take some maternity pics. I was 30 weeks pregnant and thought it was a good time to go out and take the pics. Most people told me to wait until 36ish weeks, but for some reason I was adamant that I had to have my pics done then (guess my intuition kicked in or I wouldn't have gotten any at all)
Last Halloween:
This Halloween I have an 11.5 mnth old little girl who wasn't too happy about being put in her witches costume, but she was cute nonetheless.
What a difference a year makes!
Sorry for such a short post, i'll post more later.

Fall...
Yay, Fall is finally here. This is my favorite season by far. I love the changing leaves, the warm clothing, (but not feeling like you have to bundle up completely), the apple cider, the pumpkins, I could go on and on. It is one of the reasons why I HAD to take Kennedy to a pumpkin patch to take some pics. She won't remember it, but I will, and I look forward to sharing the billions of pictures we are taking of her, with her some day.
That is all for now, just wanted to share my love of fall, and some cute pictures of Kennedy at the pumpkin patch :)

11 months!
Kennedy turned 11 months old this past weekend. This starts the official countdown to her first birthday and I cannot believe how fast it is approaching.
She is growing and changing every day, even though she is still a peanut. A little about how she is doing and developing:
I am sure there are many many things that I am missing as there are new things every day.
She is growing and changing every day, even though she is still a peanut. A little about how she is doing and developing:
- She is currently in 6-9 month, or 6-12 month clothing, and size 3 diapers.
- She is crawling and get into everything now
- She can now sit up on her own from a laying down position or from her belly
- She is pulling up on everything and stands pretty well holding onto things
- I am pretty sure she now has her own "words" for things, such as the dog, hi, bye
- She will wave bye bye to people, and to a select few will even say bye bye (more like a ba ba) while waving.
- The kids at her daycare also say that she says Hi to them when they wave to her, they got so excited the other day when I went to pick her up because they just had to tell me. On a side note - the kids LOVE her there, which makes me very happy, as Kennedy seems to love them just as much.
- She looks for every sound that is being made, and when I say look, I mean, crawl around any chair that is there, crane her neck around to see where something is and even go into another room if necessary. She is very inquisitive.
- Lastly, we are currently watching my Aunt and Uncles dog while they are on vacation with my parents, and when the dogs bark while playing she stops to listen, and then will start to"bark" right a long with them. It is rather cute.
I am sure there are many many things that I am missing as there are new things every day.

Birthday planning...
I have started the birthday planning. As you will probably guess, the colors are (gasp) pink and orange. Who would've thought?? - well if you know me personally you would've at least guessed orange.
So, I took on the adventure of making a tutu for her to wear, and if I do say so myself, it came out pretty damn good!
I've already picked up the plates, cups, etc., and a few of the decorations. I am also going to be ambitious and make the cupcakes/cake (whatever I decide on) myself. This weekend Kennedy decided she wanted to get in on the action and have some input as well, so she took to reading a party magazine.
She's so cute :)

On the move....
Kennedy is on the move lately. She go's go's and go's some more. Last Friday I just "followed" her around the house to see where she would go, and took pictures of her adventure. It is amazing what she can get herself into (and not very often out of).
heading for the bookshelf...
proud that she found something under the desk chair...
she made it under the desk, but then proceeded to whine until I got her out (and no we don't let her around this area unless we are with her)...
then back across the room to the arm chair, where she so proudly presents...
the piece of paper she found, and then proceeded to chew on, pull apart and carry with her for the rest of the night.
Then on Sunday she got herself under the desk chair again, and this is what I saw when I looked down (as I was sitting on the chair at the time)
Time to get the gate up!
